Bullocks brought from LlO 10b to Ll4 10s, a few pens of very superior bringing LIS 10s to L 1619 5; oows, L 7 10s to Llolos, or equal to 35s per lOOlbs for prime quality: We sold 35 at yards, and have placed 100 privately. FatSheep.—About 600 shorn wethers were penned, which sold at 14s 6d to 16s 6d each, or equal to i'id per lb. Fat Lambs.—The supply of these much exceeds the demand. 300 at least were penned, and sold at 5s to 10s according to quality. Store Cattle.—There is a very active demand for grown cattle of all descriptions. We quote lest bullocks at L7los to L 8 10s; cows, Lsto L 7 10s; mixed herds are worth L 5 to L 6 10s. On Monday next we shall sell at Mosgiel 200 head of superior •tore cattle, and at Palmerston, on the following day (Tuesday), 500 head. Store Sheep.—No transactions to report.
