PROROGATION OF PARLIAMENT.
* At~ 0. SO' p. m. yesterday Parliament w«s prorogued by •ommiitton, the Commissioners Being the Speaker of the Legislative Council, the Hons. Major Richmond, Dr ,-Pollen, and Mr Hall. There was no speecn. The prorogation is formally till January 1(5. The following is an analysis of the business done in the House of Representatives during the session Bills brought from Council awaiting Royal assent, this year, 182, last year 144. Bills of all sorts this year 306, last year 186. There were eightyfive days of meeting this year, fifty-nine last year. Divisions, 346 this- year, ninety-four last year. Daily average sitting this year, teu hbnrff'twehty-eight minutes; last yeto, seven hours five, minutes. There were 345 reports from select committees, 187 papers laid upon the table, and 260 questions asked sf Ministers.
