A match for the Company's gold medal wfiSA&IL off at the West Taieri Company's range on Saturday. There were seventeen competitors... The**"*' weather was fine but the light variable, a puffy breeze blowing from the rear. At the last range the sky was much overcast, and consequently there was a very bad light. Five points were conceded to ■ those who had never won a prize. The medal was won by Vol. J. with five added making 56.
