(1.) "That in the opinion of this Counoil the mode of eiecUpg members of the Harbor Board, oarried at the last meeting of the Board, by the casting vote of the Chairman, would be detrimental to the interests of the City, the Province, and the Board itself. That the mode of election proposed by the Hon. Mr Eeynolds, in.thfe Bill nowbefote Parliament, ia satisfactory, as tending to sive all the Important interests co ioarned a fair and equit able representation, and will tend to bring into more harmonious werking the Harbor Board and the City Counoil of Dunedin." Ihat this Council having learned that it has been the praotioe to admit patients from the suburban districts into the Fever Hospital, resolves that such be discontinued in he future.
