AMUSEMENTS.
Both plncea of amusement were well attended last evening. At the Process's " Our Em'ly " was so successfully received as to warrant the management in. repeating 1 the performance this evening. Mr Dampier's Peggotty is exceedingly natural, and ably bears out the author's conception ef this character. The views at the Temperance Hall were much admired, and the publ'o are sow proving their appreciation of this novel pictorial exhibition. The Thames, from its source to London, will be Bhewn to-night. | IThe'Choral Society's concert takesplace to-night, when Costa's oratorio of " Naomon " will be given. Mr Baphael, agent for Simonsen's Opera Troupe! who arrived in town yesterday, has saeceeded in arranging for a farewell season at the Queen's commencing on Tuesday night. The company have greatly improved since their visit here in Manjh, and their repertoire now includes ''Noima," "Mas. siniello," nnd " Carlo Brosohi." The prices are fairly popular, so that a successful season may be looked forward to.
