IMMIGRATION.
The Timaru sailed for Otago on July 26, with 301 i adults, of which 50} adultti were nominated. Mr Andrew, emigration agent, reports that a considerable number of applications for passages to all part's of New Zealand were received at the Scotch agency during month, and that as a considerable number were found suitable the sblpDaoedin .was fixed to sail from Glasgow on August 25, witha full complement. i' i - -
