W. 0. Pepy’s n rrative of a Vi-it to the King of Burmah is conclude 1. The third article deals with the rise of = eligious Toleration, by W. M. Carlisle. The Rev. J. Upton Davis has contributed a paper on “ Primary _ Education in New Zea land ” We regard this opening up of a subject which riiust come permanently before the Colony in the course of a session or two as well timed. The remaining articles are on “The Discipline of the Intellect," by J. Flaveli; “Changes in Italy,” ‘ Lord Brougham.” “ I he Malay Race,” by Dr. F. Mtiller; “ On the Way Home.” and “Evolution and Christianity/’ by the Rev Charles Fr .ser. 'I his sketch of contents leads us to anticipate that the present number is more interesting than usual. We shall take an early opportunity of reviewing it.
