Since then several lines have been moved off privately at an advance of 20s on auctieu prices. There is a slightly better feeling in the tea market mnce it has been ascertained that direct supplies to Otago are likely to be much short of last year's. Currants are in demand, and a sale in cases is reported to us at ssd. We have ro change in spirits to report. American salmon is arriving freely, and offering at 8s Bd. Oats continue to retch 2s, and butter Is.
