THE SUBMARINE CABLE.
INTERCOLONIAL NEWS. Sydney, September 14. -All hopes of the safety of the Dandenorg are almost abandoned, to-day's search proving fruitless. A number of steamers went out in search of her. It is supposed she foundered during the gale with about forty people on board: She is insured for LH,OOO. No sign of the 'Frisco boat yet. Another gale is coming on.
