The brigantine Swordfish was towed to sea this forenoon by the tug Geelong, and sailed for Hobart Town, in ballast. The a.a. Easby, with cargo and 'passengers, for Newcastle, via the coast, took her departure this afternoon.

The s.s. Albion sailed this afternoon, with passengers and cargo for Hobart Town, via the Bluff. Passengers per Elizabeth Graham, which left for Dunedin on the 16th July : Mr John and Miss Bridget Dobberns. Tho M»y Queen, from Otoao, was spoken on 24th June, in la T . 5 north, long. 29 west. Tho s.s. Ino, which has been compelled to put back twice owing to the heavy weather, made another attempt to get to Port Molyneux. The p.s. Samson, with cargo and passengers f or Oamaru, sailed this morning. The schooner Rosanna Bose was towed down yesterday by the p.s. Iron Age, and anchored below the shipping. The barque Oriental shipped her new mainmast yesterday afternoon. The heavy S.W. wind which has prevailed for the last fortnight gave out yesterday, snd was followed by a light northerly breeze, which enabled the whole of tho small craft which had been lying at the Heads wind-bound to take their departures. The ketch Anne, from the Coast, arrived yesterday afternoon and passed the Poit with a northerly breeze. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS, Wellington, September 11.—Sailed: Tanpo, for South. Passengers: Messrs J. O'No 1, Tonks, Carson, Board, Gray, Foley. W. S. Medcalfe. Lyttelton, September 11. Arrived .- Border Chief, from London, 93 days out. All well. She was in company with the ship Tomasino M'Lellau during the passage. 9.50 a.m., Hawea, from Port Chalmers.
