The amount of revenue received at the Customhouse on goods cleared for consumption this day was 1 5D6 9s Bd.

The Emma, which ah ived at Melbourne yesterday from Mauritius, reports one vessel loading there for Dunedin. Prices are high, and good assortments difficult to be got.

.'MrH*SB* Drives (on behalf of the N.Z.L. and M.A. Co.) reports for week ending August 30, 1876: Wool.—By Suez mail, on tho 25th, we received later catalogues of July sales, which fully confirm a decline of 80 per cent, from June, 1875—a1l descriptions being involved in the fall—which it is, however, satisfactory to know has been followed before the close of the sales by an advance of from 10 to 15 per cent, from lo.west point. ' Sheepskins.—We sold a full catalogue at our auction thiß afternoon,' realising very full prices—in some instances a slight advance on last weekbutchers' green cross-breds bringing from 3s 4d to 4s 7d each; merinos, 2s 7d to 3s. Hides are again lower this week; few sold. Tallow.—We sold some parcels of country rendered, fair quality, ajt L 27 to L 29. Grain.—Wheßt still continues very scarce, none coming forward excepting to millers' orders; pn • sent value for good milling 5s to 5s 3d. Oats are not much.in demand this week, bub few offering. Prices are firm for feed, Is lid to 2b ; milling 2s Id to 2s 2d. Barley is very dull, brewers not buying. Ft r good Eamples, which are scarce, holders aru firm at 4s Cd; milling samples, 2s 6d to 3s; feeding, 2s.
