To the Editor. Sir, —I am sorry to trouble you—as printers’ ink is valuable—but will you be good enough to correct an error which crept into my letter on Evolution, kou erroneously represent me to have said that “ Captain H.’s argument appears to me to be very weak.” The passage should have read thus: “Darwin does not show one instance of an inferior animal germinating into another; in fact at one point his (Darwin’s) argument appears to me to be very weah.”— I am, &c., Tyro.
