VOLUNTEER LAND CLAIMS.

•Mr Stout, M.H.R., has kindly furnished us with tho following information in reference to the position under the New Land Bill of Volunteers who are entitled to land grants : “ Claims for scrip issued, and claims for newj scrip must be made within twelve months, and when scrip is issued the land must be bought within six months of issue. All the existing Volunteer Land Acts are repealed, but Volunteers who have served three years may, on the completion of the full term of service, obtain sciip.”
