.Mr D. M. Spedd:ng gold to-day, by auction, sections 19 and 20, block 1, Primrose Hill, Momington, with buildings thereon, to Mr W. D. Meares for L 405. Henry Driver (on behalf of the N.Z.L. and M.A. Co.) reports for the week ending August 9,1876 Fat Cattle.—22o head were yarded at the sales today, the quality ranging from medium to prime. We have to recoi d a reduction in prices, as compared with late quotations, of at least 2s 6d per 10011)8. Best pens of bullocks brought from Lll to Ll4 10s; cows, L 8 to LlO 10s, or equal to 35s per 10011's for prime quality. At the yards we sqjd 70 head as above. Fat Sheep.—2,ooo came forward, 1,500 finding buyers at a fall of Is to Is 6d each below late rates. We quote best cross-breds at lls to 14s; merinos, 7s 61 to 10s 6d, or 2}d per lb for former and 2td the latter. We sold 500 at the yards. Fat Calves.—Good vealers are in demand at from 30s to 70s each. Store Cattle andJSheep,—Nothing of importance has been transacted.
