INTERCOLONIAL NEWS. Sydney, August 3. The steamer Barrabool, baund from Sydney to Melbourne, collided with the steamer Queensland, bound to Sydney, north of Wilson's Promontory, to-day. The latter sank within an hour The crew and passengers were saved. he Barrabool's bow was stove. The Noumea, from New Caledonia, was recently reported off the coast, short of provisions. She reached Broken Bay. Her crew and passengers suffered considerably. Arrived.—Hero, from Auckland.
