r , Drunkenness.—Mary Sinclair and John Scott, for this offence, were fined fis or the usual alternative,* Margaret Hickey and Anne Kenny, 10s or forty-eight hours. Vagrancy. Elizabeth Graham was charged with having no lawful means of support, but she was acquitted. Maintenance. —Archibald Cameron was charged with having refused to obey an order, granted on the 2Gth July, for the maintenance of his wife.—Defendant asked for an adjournment to enable him to bring counsel.—Their Worships granted a remand until Thursday next. Window Breaking. —Jane Tinne, for having broken a large pane of glass in the shop window of Mr Geo. West, music seller, was ordered to pay L2, with coste, in default of payment fourteen days’ imprisonment.
