£1,709.800 This amount is included in the estimate of colonial indebtedness. The authority SVSL* 0 the A g ent General was to realise L 1,250,000 on ung aranleed debentures. The total indebtedness of the Colony has only varied slightly from that of last year, Major Atkinson's statement being L 19.350.906, and Sir Julius Vogel's L 19,543,194. From this amount has to be deducted the accrued sinking fund of LI, 229,200, leaving the amount of actual Colonial liabilities, L 18,313,994.
