Greymouth, June 27. The Greymouth-Brunner Railway has been repaired, and traffic is resumed.
Naffer, June 27. In the case of W. Stuart v. Bank of Australasia, an action to recover L 5,000 for an alleged breach of contract, the jury did not agree, and were discharged. In F. Sutton v. Hera and others, an action to recover possession of lands at Omaoranui, the case did not go to the jury. Issues were settled by consent on both sides, and a verdict was recorded for the plaintiff, the defendants being at liberty to move that the verdict be set on the grounds that certain persons other than defendants were in occupation of the land, and that it was necessary they should be served as well as defendants.
At a meeting of the Harbor Board the petition of master mariners for the erection of a colored light at the spit was favorably considered. The pilot was instructed to carry out the prayer of the petition.

Auckland, June 28. De Murska opened here last night to a tremendous house at the Choral Hall and received a perfect ovation. She only arrived in Auckland the same afternoon. De Murska purposes returning after this through New Zealand.
