Wool.—Per Trhco mail, arrived this morning, we have catalogues up to 3nl Mav, from which we gather that prices lor Otago wool have not declined further from the opeuing sab'R, which we fully reported last Sheepskins.—At our*auuti<jn this afternoon we had a ltvrgo attendance of bnvrrs, ench lot being well competed for. Average—Crossbreds, 3s 2d; merinos, 2s 8d each.
Hides s >ld at full rates. Fi.r wet salted, 4d to 44d per lb; green hides, 20a to 21s ijd each. Tallow.—Some J3itall lots of country rendered sold at 26s 6d to 295. Grain —Wheat continues in good dema* dat 4s 6d to 4s 9d for good to choice milling ; inferior, 4s to 4s 4d. Oats are loss inquired for, but stocks in store are light; we quote feed, la 9d to Is lOd for bright shipping parcels; milling, Is lid to 29. Barley continues very dull, the absence of any very choice qualities adds to ihe dullness; inferior and secondiry sorts are quite nominal v.-lues; medium sells at 4s to 4s 3d.
