Otago, s.s., 610 tons, Calder, for Melbourne, via the Bluff. Passengers; For Bluff—Mr, Miss, and Master Brown. For Melbourne Messrs liar, Thomson, Sutterhy, Law, Mayhew, Turton, Pogo, A. H, Jack, and fourteen in the steerage. Express, s.s., 136 tons, Christian, for the Bluff. The schooner Owake sailed yesterday afternoon for Catlin's River. The steamers Otago, for Melbourne via the Bluff, and Express, for the Bluff, sailed last evening. The Albion Company’s steamer Taiaroa, with cargo and passengers from Timaru, arrived at seven this morning and steamed alongside the ship W’el. lington to discharge COO socks of grain and 1,054 cases of meat. She left Timaru at 7 p.m. yesterday, and experienced light southerly wind and cloudy weather to arrival. The Australasian Pacific Mail steamship City of San Francisco arrived at the Heads at 8 a in. yesterday; steamed up the harbor, on th;; flood tide, and anchored off Deborah Bay at 1.50 p.m. She left Kandavau at 1.45 a.m. on the 13th, and arrived at Auckland at 3.15 a.m. on the 17th, having encountered strong winds and heavy sea for the latter port of her passage. Left again at 11 a.m. same day, and arrived at Napier at 6 p m. on the 38th; landed passengers and mails, and pushed on for Wellington at 9.30 p.m.; eucounlerrd strong head winds, with heavy sea, until arriving at Wellington at 9 p.m, on the 19th: remained there until 11 p.m., and arrived at Lyttelton at 3 p.m. on the 20th; left at 5 p.m., and arrived as above.
