THE SUBMARINE CABLE.
Sydney, June 19. Over 600 immigrants arrived at Queensland on Saturday. Sailed : Easby, for Wellington. Melbourne, June 19. Captain Audley Coote has had an interview with the Government in reference to cable arrangements. The most feasible plan for a second cable is considered to be from Pesth to Ceylon, via KeeJong Island, a distance of about 1,500 miles.
