Commercial.
The amount of revenue received at the Customhouse on goods cleared for consumption this day was L 654 4s sd. Mr Henry Driver (on behalf of the N. Z. L. and M. A. Company) reports for week ending May 17, 1876 : Fat Cattle. —150 head were yarded to-day, and all sold at prices slightly above last quotations, or 32s •d per lOOlbs, a few prime pons bringing as much as 355. At the yards and privately we have sold 100 bead. Fat Calves.—About twenty penned, whloh!brought from 26s to 70s each. Fat Sheep.—2,ooo, chiefly merinoes, were penned, and, iu cousquonco of the trade being well supplied, only two-thirds were disposed of. Best cross-breds brought from 11s to 15s; merinoes from 7s to 9s 6d, or equal to 3d per lb for the former, and 2sd for the latter. Store Cattle.—Quotations remain unaltered. Store Sheep.—But little business is now being done iu this class of stock, for which prices continue unchanged.
