SENTENCES FOR THEFT.

Messrs Logan and Hislop, J.P.s’., attended at the Gaol to-day to investigate two charges of larceny against Win, Alders, a prisoner already undergoing three sentences for larcenies at Blneskin. The charges were for stealing a pair of boots, value 255, the property of Jas. Conelly, and a pair of trowsers, value 10s, the property of Alex. Murray. Prisoner, who is one of the juvenile gang recently unearthed, was sentenced to four months for the first, and three months for the second offence, the sentences to be cumulative. Zt is not improbable that other robberies will be traced to Alders.
