Judgment was given for plaintiffs by default in the following cases :- Wise and Co. v. M'CleUan, claim L 5 Is 7d, for goods sup. plied; Watson and Gow v. J. Leckie, Ll3 Bs, for work done ; Maclean and Chrißtie v. J. Henderson, 12s 2d, for goods supplied. Protection Order.—Mr E. Cook applied for a protection order in favor of Mrs Marion MTherson, who it was stated had been married twenty r eight years and had seven children—four of them over twentyone years of age. M'Pherson had been in the habit of ill-treating his wife.—The order was granted.
