CITY COUNCIL.
Fo'ir notices of motion appear on the City Council order paper for Tuesday. Councillor Roberts will move:—
(1) That Princes street Eouth, both sides, be kerbed and channelled, and footpaths asphalted, as f*r ns the inner boundary of the Town Belt. (2) That, the north side of Anderson's Bay Road, from Princes to Crawford 3treets, be kerbed, channelled, and the footpath asphalted. Councillor Isaac moves:—
(I) That in the interest of protection against fire in tho City of Dunedin, it is desirable tbat a responsible paid fire brigade be maintained. (2) That tho Fire Brigade Committee be requested to give such notice to the present Duuediu Volunteer Fire Brigade as is necessary to carry out the foregoing resolutwn.
