Wednesday, April 26. (Before E. H. Leary, Esq., and K. Ramsay, Esq,, J.P.’s.)
Drunkenness. James Wilkens and Hugh M‘i* arlauo were each fined ss, in default twenty-four hours’ imprisonment. Disorderly Conduct.— Hugh M ‘Farlane, for assaulting Jacob Eekhoff, master of the Sailors’ Home, by striking him with his fist, was further fined 20s, in default seven days’ imprisonment. William Thomson, for disorderly conduct, was fined 40s, in default forty-eight hours’ imprisonment. Rather Suspicious. —Harry Boxwell, a well-known character, charged with being found at midnight in a right-of-way off Walker street, with his face blackened contrary to sect. 4,.sub-sect. 10, of the Vagrancy Act, was discharged.
