Mr Gow, Messrs Blondin, Cohen, Drake, Hill, Bailee, Danaob, and Niand. For Wellington— Mr J. T. Thomson. For Wanganui—Mrs Thomp. son, Mr M'Minn. For Napier—Mr Banks. For Manukau—Mesdames Stevenson and child, Edwards

and two children and servant. Gall, Messrs Edwards, Stevenson, Chapman, Guthrie, Young, Wright, Lees, Hepburn, Ross, Gall, and twentythree steerage for all ports.

The p.s. Lioness, from Hokitika, steamed np the Harbor at 8.30 last evening. She left Hokitika on the 28th ult., with a light southerly wind, which increased to a gale in the Straits, causing her to pat into Greville Harbor on the 29th; at 1.30 p.m. next day passed the schooner Benclench, off Cape Jackson, hound North. A S.B. rale caused her to run into Queen Charlotte Sound, and anchored in Worser Bay, where she remainedfor twenty hours. She put into Ficton to coal, and called at Lyttelton, which port she left at 12.45 pun. on the 3rd; had moderate easterly winds thence to arrival. The Lioness goes into dock for an overhaul. The brigantine Kate Brain with a cargo of bark and grain, from Lyttelton, arrived yesterday afternoon. She left Lyttelton on Saturday lost; had variable winds to arrival.

SHIPPING TELEGRAM. Wellington, April 4.—Sailed: Wellington, for Lyttelton and South, at 4 p.m. Passengers: Mrs Beersford. Miss Durham, Mesdames Mason, Wyllie, Hardy, Drammond, Grant, Love, Levy, Snrimpton, Messrs J. Wykes, Newland, Lynch Troupe (7), Hardy, Sealey, Hester, and nine in steerage.
