INTERCOLONIAL NEWS.
Sydney, March 29th. Arrived: Mikado with the inward San Francisco mail. The drought in the back country of Queensland is broken up. March 30. A proclamation has been issued prohibiting the importation of stock here except from the Australian Colonies. The Assembly rejected a motion to set apart a day of humiliation and prayer for rain. Melbourne, March 29th. Mr M'Kean brought a charge of drunkenness against the Chairman of Committees (Mr Davies) but his language was so violently outrageous that no notice could be taken of his allegations.
