A communication was received from the secretary of the proposed Certificated Teachers’ Association, of New Zealand, consideration of which was deferred until next meeting. < Mr Dalxymple Wrote foiwa>ding a communication'respecting the institution of pavings banks in schools, and suggested that tne membeis of the association should read the pamphlets enclosed and'discdss them at a future meeting. Agreed to. Mr J. Reid, of-the North-east Valley, read mi interest ngjpaper on .‘‘Thetrue relations of Parents, and. Teachers,” which was very favorably received and,commented.upon.
