SUICIDE.
,' Christchurch, February 28., A man named Freeborn, a commission agent, who has been living some time at the Criterion Hotel, shot himself in the left temple at the back of the hotel shortly after 1 p m. to-day, He was quite dead when found ; quite , sober when last seen alive. No cause for his conduct is yet known. T wo of earthquake were felt here Afcdroa on Saturday, but they vrere so slight that Jew felt them.
