In firing ties. Bell took firs'; p’ace with a bulls eye; Crowther fourth wi’h an outr; Patten and Bnrmball .scored a centre each. Eingswell, InvereavgUl, also made 28, but missed in firing his third >hot. Patton and Burr.ball then fired for second and third places, and a;gain tied three succ ssivc times. Patton then ma le a bull’s-e.ve and Barribuil a cen're. Last j ear the first in this match was won by Bairiball, Waiukru, with a score of 32.
