Wanganui, February 23. The representatives for the Colonial prize firing landed at eleven this mcning, and were escorted by the cavalry and rifle volunteers to the Oddfellews’ Hall, where they were entertained at lunch. The streets were crowded. The men march to the camp this afternoon. (From our own Correspondent,) Auckland, February 23. The yacht race yesterday between the American schooner Peerless and the yachts Secret and Daphne proved a failure, owing to the want of vrind. The Secret came in first. Another match has been negotiated.
