INTERCOLONIAL CABLE NOTICE,

The Australia i cable is now open to the public. The following are the charges in addition to the New Zealand rates:—

To Sydney First ten words, 8s; each additional word, 9^d. To other stations in New South Wales—First ten words, 9s 6d; each additional word, lOd. To nil stations in Victoria—First ten words, 9s 6d: each additional word, lid. To all stations in South Australia (exclusive of overland line tariff)— First ten words, 9s 6d: each additional word, lid. All stations in Tasmania—First ten words, 13s 6d; and Is per word for Australia and New Zealand cable, and 2s for every live words or fraction of five words for Tasmanian cable. For London and places in Europe a word rate of 10a 6d per word, to which musft bo added 9s 6d for every ten words or fraction thereof, and lid for each additional word, being the rate from New Zealand to Melbourne.
