• Td fhe'EdUor. Sir,On Monday latt a boy named Morrissey, who left the Ciitholic chord abont a yenr ago, since which he attended a Government School, was sent back to me fo the fii st time. A li tie,while after he entered the room I was informed 'that he camefoma house wh*re aca,let fever,w &s peaent,.! immediately sent himaway, nd the same afternoon wrote a note acqu inting the H-alth Officer (who, I was told, had been left in ignorance) with the matter. I now wish to ask that gentl man if scarlet fever is present in Mornsxey s house iu the neighborhood <of Russell street, and if so, why has the boy in question been allowed to pby about;et large amongst tbe children? I myself saw him doing so more than once yesteiday, and on one occasion he waat-sitting huddled up amongst a throng of boys and girls, who wire collected to listen to an organjit the corner opposite to Jjryden’? st rA,-3[ am, &c., . , JomO.
