ST. VALENTINE’S DAY.
TTo-day has been a busy one for the Postoffice authorities, and especially so for the ggSfE* l * l **! wh ? bave had to distribute 2,200 letrers throughout the City. This year •the striff of this journal have been the recipients °t a hberal supply of these tender (?) epistles, and while thankful for the attention, they would feel obliged if, in future, some senders would remember to prepay the postage. We are told tbe Kuarrhana of the peace received commumcations “ varied and amusing: ” certain It is that a crowd,of small boys found great delight m the early part ot the day in wading the addre ses, which were to be read with taee from the outside of their delivery
