Wednesday, January 26. (Before T, A. Mansion!, Esq., 8.M.) Drunkenness. —Samuel Caro was fined ss, or twenty-four hours’ imprisonment. Neglected Children. Thomas King, Joseph King, Alic* King, and June Auchterlonie, ihe eldest apparently about nine years of age. were charged with being neglected ch Idren. According to the evid nee of the pol.ee. the mother of the K’ng« had deserted them and the father stated they were beyond hj s control and he was unable to attend to them. The father of the girl Aucherlonie was dead and her mother affirmed that she was beyond her con' rol.—H s worship ordered them to be sent to the Industrial School for twelve months.
