SOUTH DUNEDIN MUNICIPALITY.
This bodv held their third meeting on Thursday at tho Forbnry School. Ail the Councillors were present, the May r being in the fchair. Motions to the following effect were carried ■1) That a map of the t wn be ordered. (2) lhat tho Works Committee be authorised io procure a imp in accordance with resolution. (3) 1 hat applications be called for appointment of Working Tns-. ector. (4) Applications bo called for office of Kngiaeer. (5) I hat a deputation consisting of the Mayor, C'rs. Barrowman, iSaumau. Meade, and Hardy wait on the g u P T ‘r]tif undent in reference to sharing with St Kdda any endowment of the Sand Hills. The Council then adjournal till 8 p.m. on Monday next.
