CLUTHA POLLING, The election of a member to represent this district took place yesterday, with the fol lowing result:— Mosley. Thomson.
Returns have yet to come in from Waiwera, Wairuna, and Kaihiku, hut they are expected to swell Mr Thomson’s majority. GERALDINE ELECTION. The following are the returns to hand Tcschemaker. Turnbull. Bruce,
The Ashwick return is not yet in. This is supposed to give Tcschemaker a further majority of six votes.
