VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.
The Wakari Rifles and Port Chalmers Naval Brigade fired in the final stage for choice of Colonial representatives at Waikari this morning. The weather was fine. Capt. Staveley, the commanding officer, was in charge. Marshall, being next highest on the list, was allowed to fire in place of Anderson, S.D.E., who does not take part in the second competition.
