Christchurch, January 7. Kaiapoi haa two chews m training for the Wellington Interprovincial Regatta. Dr Deamer has been appointed by the local board of health to inspect each case of scarlet fever as it occurs, and to report to the board on the best means to prevent the spread of the disease.
