CHRISTCHURCH TO TIMARU BY BAIL.
Through trains for ballasting purposes now run from Christchurch to Tininru I he line is expected to be open for traffic by the end of next week or the beginning of the following week. All that now remains to be done is to ballast a-<xuo four milts between Temuka and the Urari.
