Greig install d the newly elected officers, The discussion on the laws leferring to District Lodges, Districts, and District Deputies, resulted in the District Lodge, being abolished, and new arrangements made as to the preliminaries to the appointment of deputies and the defining of the limits of districts. The question of the official organ of the Grand Lodge was referred to the Executive. it was decided that the next-session of the Grand Lodge, on the second Tuesday in December, 1870, should be hold in Coristchurch. The meeting was resumed this morning at ten o’clock, when it was resolved to again confer the Grand Lodge Degree at the commencement of the afternoon session.

The subject of representatfon to Grand Lodge was decided nearly in accord nice with the acti n taken by the Executive in the 'ate elections ; the examination and declaration of ballots being, however, made by a convention of Lodge Deputies under the presidency of the District Deputy. It was decided that the General Superintendent of Juvenile Templars should bo elected by the Grand Lolge, and be c.v-o.ffrWo a member of the Executive. Bro. Bond, of Nelson, was elected such General Superintendent. Tho Degree Constitutions were under discussion when the Grand Lodge adjourned at two o’clock.
