PRESENTATION.
On Saturday, Mr Alex. Hunter, who, for fifteen years, has, with satisfaction to his employers, and credit to himself filled the post of engineer to * LKily Times and Witno s Company,' and is now about to set up in business on his own account, was pres nted by tho o'd hands of the office with an illuminated address expressive of their regret at the severanco of his connection with the establishment, and of good wishes for his success. The address, the work of Mr Kedmayne, was ornamented by Mr Macgregor, with sketches of the first office or the ' Otago Daily Times and Witness Company,' their present offices with the University Buildings, an excellent portrait of Sir Julius Vogel, and the new machine recently imported by the Company.
