AQUATICS
Tho officers of the Telegraphic Department in Dunedin have formed themselves into a Rowing Club, and from the known capability of some of its members and the earnestness with which they have ente 'ed into the affair, it may be safely predicted that they will make themselves known in aquatic circles before long. Mr Lubecki is president, Mr T. Muir captain, Mr H, F. Seager deputy captain, and Mr H.. Day secretary and treasurer, while Messrs A. M’Leod and R. Fowler act ax a committee. I The Club, which have purchased a practice boat and ordered a batswing racing gig from Canterbury, would have gone into training for the regatta if it had not been fixed for such an early period of the year.
