For Mauukau—Messrs Newman, M'Lellan, Fleming, tfutcliff ; and sixteen steerage. The N.Z.S.S. Company’s s.s. Taranaki arrived alongside the railway pier from the North at 9.45 this morning. Alter discharging her cargo she steamed to the head of the Graving Dock, and was shortly afterwaids hauled in for the purpose of being cleaned. She left Onehunga at 12.15 p.m. on the 2nd ; Taranaki at 7.30 a m. nest day, and Nelson at 11.20 a.m. on the 4th ; Wellington nt 4.20 p.m. on the 6th, and Lyttelton at 1.30 p.m. yesterday, having experienced westerly winds. We thank Mr C. J. Edmistou (purser) for report and exchanges. The ship May Queen will be removed at high water from the powder ground to the railway pier to discharge. The ship Wairaate was removed from the stream alongside the lailway pier yesterday afternoon. The s.s. Lady of the Lake left Moeraki at 6.30 p.m. yesterday, and arrived in port at 11 p.m. The Union Company’s chattered s.s. Wanganui arrived from he'- usual trip to Lyttelton, via intermediate p&rts, at 6.30 this morning, and steamed alongside the barque Elizabeth Graham to discharge wool. She loft Lyttelton at 2 p.m. on tho Cth ; Akaroa at 9.30 p.m.; Timaru, where she took on board, besides other cargo, 143 bales of wool for tho ship Invercargill and 40 bales for the barque Elizabeth Graham, at 7.15 mm. on the 7th. The ship Invercargill was removed from tho stream alongside the new pier to complete her loading for London.
