THE FLOWER SHOW.
To the Editor. Sir, —I have watched with great interest for some considerable time the proceedings of our local Koiticu tural Soci- ty, and am pleased to learn that they ate taking a step in the right direction, by adding, what tro raises to be,a moat attractive concert to their ordinary floral display. One of your correspondents has raised the question as to the legality or light of the committee to charge admittance for entry to their fitc in Farley’s Arcade. I think with you, sir, that the public will not object to the charge, copsidering the high class entertainment provided by the Society. I perceive the price of admission is raised to two shillings for nonmembers, and considering tbe double programme, as we may term it, presented by the committee, it is, I think, % very reasonable one, —I am, &c,, Amateur, Dunedin, December 4.
