Through the courtesy of Mr Monson, of Port Chalmers, we have been furnished with returns showing the an ivala at and dt-j artures from the port of Dunedin during the month of November. The total number of arrivals from all parts was 272. The United Kingdom supplied ns with 08 of that number. 40 being m»n and 14 women; New South Wales sent us 5 ; Victoria 138 men and 35 women; and South and West Australia 4 men and 1 woman. The emigration during the month w r aa—To Victoria 20 men, 9 women, and 5 children. There is therefore a balance in favor of immigration of 228 souls.
