Brisbane, November 22 A meeting was held at Maryborough, at which it was determined to form a Working Men’s Association to prevent the Kanakas working on the plantations. Captain Brown, of the barque Mary MiUlred, reports the escape of five convicts from Noumea in a large boat, with a full supply of stores, comprising fourteen bags of flour, jams, fruits, and one barrel of water.
