In answer to questions lm said he would borrow to the extent of Ll5O for the erection ot a Town Hall if it could be accom plisne l, but would prefer it to be, got up in shares. He was not in favor of building a bridge across the creek. Mr Imkib said that seeing at the nomination that so ieiv candidates came forward, and tlmse who came being inferior and not of much con sequence, he came forward at the request of several electors. If relumed, as he fully'expected he would be, he would work earnestly and faithfully for the benefit of the township.
