Friday, November 19. (Before F, M’Glashan, Esq., and A. Mercer, Esq., d P.’s) Drunkenness. —John M < Luskey was fined 40s, in default fourteen days’ imprisonment, ' Vagrancy.—Lizzie limght was charged, on re : aud, with having no lawful means oi sup- ■ port. As it appeared she had left the town, I tile charge wm withdrawn.
Stealing a Doo. Edward Price was charged with stealing a dog, the property of William Sinelair.—The evidence was to the effect that prosecutor had bought two dog® from accused, and that o ie of them returned nto accused’s possession. When applied to for the dog, ho denied all knowledge of the matter. He was fined 20s, including the value of the dog (10s), or, in default, seven days’ imprisonment.
Robbery from an Hotel.- Daniel Sharp was charged with stealing 5s from the Adelaide Rotolon November 14, the property of Rober Fenwick,—Prisoner, who pleaded guilty, was sent to gaol for three days.
